I can not express how important Jackie Robinson is to baseball, sports and the advancement of Black rights in America. This country still has a long way to go regarding major social issues, but Jackie crossing the color barrier in 1947 remains a victory of historic proportions! This 16.5" x 20.5" Mixed Media has made its rounds from its stay at The Museum of Tolerance in Los Angeles along with making the rounds every year in the California Library system.
